OUR VISION

As more and more organizations are utilizing various legal entities to execute their work and advance their missions, the future of social justice work is through a multi-entity structure.

Generative Strategies, Inc. envisions a world that is strengthened and cared for on all fronts, and a movement ecosystem and infrastructure that reflects abundant care, thoughtful collaboration, and formations of people and operations that move us closer to liberation.

We work with movement organizations and other institutions to help leverage power building opportunities, build financial resilience, and strengthen operational capacity.

OUR ORIGINS

GS was founded in 2025, informed by direct experience by movement organizations. In 2023, a community champion in Orange County faced a recall campaign that required rapid and effective coordination by multiple organizations. The movement needed to scale quickly while maintaining compliance and operational stability. Organizers were successful, as they were able to focus on voter outreach and maximizing impact. A responsive back-house administrative operation facilitated this movement decision.

Our staff come from organizing, social justice, and nonprofit backgrounds, and the systems we use to administer back-office services are built in collaboration with and tailored for the movement organizations that we serve.

GS primarily serves:

Grassroots, working-class, BIPOC-led movement organizations

501(c)(3) organizations seeking to receive 501(c)(4) fiscal sponsorship (by creating a 501(c)(4) identity) to further their advocacy work

501(c)(3)s or 501(c)(4)s seeking to operate within a multi-entity structure to streamline their operational infrastructure
